Most people think that avoiding junk food and exercising will work if only they had the time, but we don't manage time, we manage the activities we choose.

But really for any program to work it must be tailored to your metabolism and lifestyle. At Dio Fitness you will go way beyond generic approaches weight training, increasing aerobic capacity and developing agility. On the "work out" level we:

  • Provide scientific exercises for  injury  recovery - even if the injury has been long term.
  • Train muscles and movements to fire in correct sequence for "injury proof" movements in the future.
  • Train you to do the Primal Movements our "civilized" society has educated us out of (often with the result of chronic back pain).
  • Develop a balanced program for strength, aerobic capacity, flexibility and spinal health.
  • Developing strength in action so you look graceful and feel good when you move.
Strength in action is crucial but rarely taught. If you've ever worked out hard at the gym only to throw out your back pitching a ball to your kid you'll understand. It's real life integrated exercise that gives us sleek and strong bodies. My goal is that our fitness work is not only useful, but fun.

We also give you the methods to:
  • Maintain a peaceful and confident state of mind
  • Increase confidence from meeting physical challenges successfully
  • Relieve the sources of pain and inflammation

I don't promote any standard "healthy food diet". I know from clinical experience that "one man's food is another man's poison" and my clients make sense of inconsistencies in food recommendations by finding out what works for them. I use an in depth analysis of several measurements to determine your metabolic type and fit you with the best foods and supplements.

That means you will not have to fit into a cookie cutter approach and hope for the best. You will enjoy what you eat because you will feel the benefits almost immediately.

Most of all, I help my clients find their zest for life - what motivates them, what makes food, exercise, work and play mean something. That's why I only work with four clients a day.
